Data we collect

  • Enquiry data you submit via forms or email: name, email address, message content, and optional consultation preference
  • Technical data necessary to deliver the site (for example server logs such as IP address, browser type, and timestamp)
  • Cookie-related preferences stored locally in your browser (see our cookies page)

Purposes and legal bases

We process enquiry data to respond to your request and, where relevant, to prepare a consulting engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate interest in answering general questions). Technical logs are processed for security and operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention

Enquiry correspondence is retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required for accounting or legal claims. Server logs are typically rotated within 90 days. Engagement files for paying clients follow retention periods stated in the engagement confirmation.

Recipients

We use hosting and email infrastructure providers acting as processors under contract. We do not sell personal data. Where required by law, we may disclose data to authorities.

International transfers

If a processor stores data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, as applicable.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including the authority in your place of residence in Germany.

Children

Parents or guardians should submit enquiries on behalf of minors when arranging school-to-career orientation sessions.

Updates

We may update this policy to reflect operational or legal changes. The current version is published on this page.
